The Cuxhaven Agency for Economic Development is the regional point of contact for businesses and start-ups for all matters concerning funding programmes and business and economic development.
Our areas of expertise cover traditional sectors of industry such as the port & logistics, fisheries and the food industry but also innovative fields such as the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. In the new energy sector, we have successfully overseen the German Offshore Industry Centre in Cuxhaven as it has positioned itself as one of the pioneering locations of its kind in Europe. Not to mention, we are also extremely well connected in classic branches of industry, such as tourism, trade and craft industries.
The primary responsibility of our team as industrial agency is the long-term support and continued development of Cuxhaven as a centre for industry. There are many schemes in place to achieve this aim. For example, supporting and furthering the structures already in place. Identifying business opportunities and new trends in technology.
