We provide advice, training, support
Since its creation in 2008, the Coordinating Authority for Women in Industry in Cuxhaven has become an important point of contact and source of advice for us at the AfW. The focus areas for providing professional and business support for women are mainly concerned with starting up new businesses and women returning or reintegration into a professional setting. In general terms, the aim is largely ensuring and supporting the livelihoods of women. Another key aim of the institution is the integration of female refugees into the job market. In addition to this, it has developed a wide range of training and further education programmes over several years.
The Coordinating Authority for Women in Industry also offers free and confidential advice. The institution also offers a selection of workshops and lectures. Tailored counselling and advice sessions for determining where and how to start a business also form part of the service offering, such as recommendations for further training during parental leave or advice for reentering the workforce.
